Lovevery Reading Games

From Lovevery’s website

An important part of our approach to teaching reading involves the integration of fun, educational games into our lessons. Learning to read is a difficult endeavor, and games are a great way to keep students engaged in a positive, enjoyable environment.

Some of the games most beloved by our students come from Lovevery’s Reading Skill Sets. These sets are segmented into three parts:

Part 1: Sounds to Reading. These games (primarily for Pre-K and K) include letter and sound identification, designed for students who are in the later stages of print awareness (showing interest in reading books, knowing that text moves from left to right, etc.).

Part 2: Words to Books. (K and 1st Grade.) These games are for students ready to read simple words (three sound words like cat and dog) and include word-building and storytelling activities.

Part 3: Advanced Rules to Chapter Books. This set is designed for 1st and 2nd grade-level skills, including vowel rules & teams and prefixes/suffixes.
